About the project

Concord is a speculative design concept for the year 2040,
imagining a future where personal intelligent assistants optimize
supply chains and improve the food system.

This project has been featured in Dutch Design Week 2020.

This data is represented and stored in the ConcordID, which evolves and is put through sentiment analysis algorithms assigning weights on values to generate personalized shopping lists.


Concord is physically represented as a series of interconnected modular kitchen appliances (ConcordAPPs). These modules fulfill every necessary function in the kitchen, such as storage, preparation, cultivation, and disposal.


Once the modules are installed and fitted into a kitchen, they form a “transaction membrane.” This membrane is the interface for exchanging goods autonomously between the modules and the delivery infrastructure.

ConcordOS analyses understands and provides feedback on users’ consumption patterns in order to make purchases for them that better suit their needs and requirements. These personalized requirements are identified and continuously updated through a combination of direct user input and behind the scenes behavioral analysis.

Concord is physically represented as a series of interconnected modular kitchen appliances, concordAPPs. These modules fulfill every necessary function in the kitchen such as storage, preparation, cultivation, and disposal. The combination of modules a user requires is determined by their concordID, the physical constraints, and allowances of the space they occupy. Modules connect and work together to maximize efficiency (e.g. heat & energy transfer) and minimize food waste.

I was a part of the ideation team which started the project for Concord. I created narratives to align everyone in the group about our mission and collected data using projective techniques.
During the exploration phase, I analyzed various technologies like projection mapping, displays, and compute possibilities within the exhibition.
I was also supposed to design physical aspects of Milan Design Week 2020 before COVID took over, and we had to stop.

Personal Contribution:

Autonomous commerce (aCommerce) gives money - and the ability to spend and earn it - to machines.   It is to artificial intelligence what electronic commerce was to PCs, and mobile commerce to smartphones. Like previous digital waves, aCommerce is tiny now, but will transform industry and the economy by making transactions frictionless. aCommerce will capture both financial and non-financial values (like CO2 footprint), to mitigate environmental and social costs of today's economic system. - CECILIA MOSZE THAM

Concord has been designed for a paradigm of consumption, where machines and A.I. assistants autonomously exchange goods. There are three main components to Concord, which together proactively take care of everyday consumer needs: ConcordOS, ConcordID, and ConcordAPP.

I'm a member of a futures design collective. I'm working with creative technologists , interior designers , videographers , UX designers , branding specialists . This is an creative outlet for us and great way to collaborate on cool projects. 

This project was commissioned by Futurity Studio , as an project to explore their themes of autonomous commerce and food systems.
